I love the open road. I love the scenery. Meeting new people from all over America. I loved driving a big rig across the great 48. I was sad to have to stop, because I was able to see so many places across America for no cost. Today I have to do it just like the rest of you, I have to take time off work, make up the itinerary and spend the money to make the trip. But so worth it. If you do family vacations you should give the old US highway routes some thought. America is a truly eclectically beautiful place. You should see as much of it as you can, as you have the time and the money to do.
